American Staffy x Mastiff

Tahli sneaking a snooze on my bed..

Hello,

I am looking for any assistance possible to find a new home for my American Staffy cross Mastiff, Tahli. I'm looking to find a new home for her between now and early December.

Tahli will be 6 years old in October this year. Tahli is registered and de-sexed.

I am a Marketing professional and I am required to move overseas to work next year from January. This is the reason I need to find a new home for Tahli. I have had her since she was 8 weeks old and she has been to puppy pre-school and obedience training. When I go on holidays Tahli is boarded at a kennel's in Malaga.

Tahli is a great dog! She is very friendly and just loves being around people and getting pats and attention and going for long walks. Tahli is mainly an inside dog as she has short hair so gets too cold in winter to be outside and really loves being around everyone. She's very curious and likes to help put away shopping and open presents!

Tahli was bullied by other dogs when she was little and now doesn't get along with other animals which I know will make it difficult to find a new home for her. Due to this Tahli requires a home with secure fencing and although Tahli has been trained she can't be walked off of a lead.

Tahli is a good guard dog in that she'll bark if a stranger comes to the door and she looks tough but is really just a big softy.  Tahli is great company! She loves to snuggle on the couch and has a great personality which everyone finds out as she tries to talk to everyone. If anyone stays over she will try and sneak onto the bed with them, however, has her own bed to sleep on. Tahli loves to chew ropes and likes the Kongs that have the treats inside.

I am unable to leave Tahli with family or friends as they either live in flats or villas or already have other animals.

I am looking for a caring loving home for Tahli. Tahli has never bitten a person her whole life and the only issue is other animals, however, having secure fencing and walking only on a lead resolves this problem. Tahli is fine with children but it is recommended she not be homed with small children as she is too boisterous for them and would knock them over when saying hello.

Tahli's vaccination and heart worm shots have just been updated and she goes to the vet regularly to have her nails clipped and for check ups. She is very good at the vet. Tahli has been fed on Eukanuba biscuits since a puppy and is well looked after and is very healthy.

I am going to be very sad to see her go. I will supply food to last until December. I have attached photos of Tahli and can send others if required.

I can be contacted on 0438 674 300 or 0439 499 130. My email addresses are kate.carey@auspost.com.au or katemichellecarey@gmail.com

Really hoping there is someone out there who can give Tahli a good home. Any advice would also be welcomed. I am trying advertisements in newspapers and notices on notice boards at shopping centres etc. and also vets. I am in Yokine Western Australia

Thanks

Kate
