Sydney Pet Rescue & Adoption is proud to have popular local entertainer, and well known animal welfare advocate Gail Browning, hosting our Christmas in July for the second year. . Gail has been a champion for many animal welfare causes. Over the last 10 years Gail has organised substantial fundraising events, raising more than $250,000 for animal causes, including Free the Bears, the Australian Orangutan Project, Humane Society International, Wildlife Warriors, Sydney Wildlife, and the Cruelty Free Festival. She has also hosted various charity auctions for the Domestic Animal Birth Society and Sydney Pet Rescue & Adoption.  She has also been NSW Branch Manager for 'Free the Bears', and State Manager for 'The Australian Orangutan Project'.

SPR&A is proud to be a Member Society of WSPA, and we are pleased to have WSPA attending as one of our special guests.  

We are also very privileged to have Ravi Wasan as one of our special guests. 

Ravi will be doing a special training presentation at our Christmas in July. He will also delight some doggie lovers from our audience with some valuable group tickets to attend one of his popular animal training sessions.

Ravi is  Head Supervisor at the Bird Department at Sydney Wildlife World. He is also a popular Animal Behaviourist and Trainer, from Feathered Friends Animal Training Ranch at Cecil Park. He lectures for university and TAFE zoo keeping courses on animal behaviour..Ravi is well known as a host of big name events such as Sydney Pet & Animal Expo, and Dogs Big Day Out.  Ravi and his highly trained animals have been seen on TV shows including The Today Show, Channel Ten News, Totally Wild, The Great Outdoors and Sydney Weekender.  Ravi is becoming well known for training birds, dogs and other animals, including for television.
